West Lake's number one handicap hole starts with an uphill tee shot and finishes with a downhill approach shot into a green that slopes from back to front. Long hitters will need to hit a slight cut so that they don't drive the ball thru the fairway. Take one less club as you approach the well-bunkered large green. An approach shot that is short and right of the green offers you your best opportunity to get up and down.
